Environmental Policy Statement

I.N.C. is committed to achieving environmental goals to ensure the minimum impact of operations upon the environment.

This Environmental Policy and Objectives are to be implemented and understood at all levels of the organisation. They are to be honoured by all employees, at all operating locations.

I.N.C. will:

  • Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations relating to environmental management.
  • Comply with the voluntary requirements of the Greenhouse Challenge program, to which I.N.C. has a cooperative agreement with the Government of Australia, as I.N.C. has identified that the generation of Greenhouse Gasses resulting from consumption of energy represents our greatest environmental challenge.
  • Detailed records on achievements will be maintained to allow for regular management review.
  • Reduce power consumption.
  • Reduce the creation of waste, which has been identified as one of the major environmental impacts resulting from our operations.
  • Eliminate air and water-borne pollutants, where relevant.
  • Identify and reduce all other environmental impacts.
  • Foster and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, as a shared responsibility of all employees.

Environmental impact objectives are recorded in the Business Plan, which is updated annually.
