DECI-FOAM

DECI-FOAM is an ignition retardant flexible polyether polyurethane foam that can be supplied with various protective facings which optimise airflow resistivity and maximise the sound absorption. DECI-FOAM is a premium and economical alternative to other foam materials.

DECI-FOAM is hydrolysis resistant. It is especially suited for use in wet and humid areas. It is particularly effective for use in marine and tropical environments.  Being polyether polyurethane, DECI-FOAM should be selected in preference to any polyester polyurethane foam based products as these degrade rapidly due to the effect of hydrolysis.

DECI-FOAM is suitable for a variety of sound absorption applications such as:

• Engine covers
• Seals
• Gaskets
• Headlinings
• Decoupling layers
